The big quiz for Haslers Foundation
On Thursday 28th February 2019 Haslers Foundation held its annual quiz and fundraising evening at the Hallmark Hotel, London, Chigwell Prince Regent from 6-30pm - 10-00pm. FCGAGA were kindly invited again as one of the charities that Haslers support. It was good to meet up with some of the other charities such as The Dream Factory, and St Clare's Hospice. The whole event was very entertaining, lots of fun and at the end of the night a grand total of £5,500 was raised for the Haslers Foundation. On behalf of everyone at FCGAGA a big thank you to Haslers Foundation for inviting us.

On Thursday 20th December  2018 the charity visited Acorn Children's Ward for what was our fifteenth year in succession bringing toys to sick children. We were supported by Haslers Foundation from Loughton who were attending for the fifth year. This  event went very well and was covered by London Live TV and shown later on in the evening and could also be viewed   online as well. The amount of  presents delivered was the most received   in the fifteen years that I have been doing this. so thank you to everyone who donated it was very much appreciated.

A big thank you to Haslers Foundation who have been more than supportive of FCGAGA throughout the years and delivered some amazing presents as always to Acorn Ward .

Finally a big thank you to members of the  Wanstead Community Hub (WCH) who supported this years toy delivery for the first time it was very much appreciated.

FCGAGA will be sad not to see Tracey Cockley  at the this years  Christmas Toy Appeal , for she will soon be  leaving  her post in the Hospital and Home Teaching Service on Acorn Children's Ward at Whipps Cross Hospital.  So the least we could do was to buy her some chocolates and a farewell card for all that Tracey has done for us. Tracey and the other staff have always been polite and warm to me and my charity supporters whenever we have brought toys to the sick children over the festive period, we wish Tracey and her family all the best for the future and thank you once again.

It gives me great pleasure to announce after eight long hard, emotional and  unpredictable years that I have been declared cancer free of my stage four Non Hodgkin Lymphoma by my oncologist at St Bart's Hospital. It is impossible to put into words how I'm feeling right now but let's go with very humbled.

On Wednesday 15th August 2018 it was a  honour and privilege for FCGAGA to buy and hand over six computer games which had been requested by the Young adults group of SFH, Romford. The group meets once a month and I was kindly invited to join them at their regular  bowling session which was held at the City Pavilion, Dagenham. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the users, their carers and staff from the different hospices who were also present.
To all the users who attend the Young Adult Group, from  all of us  at FCGAGA we hope you have hours of fun playing with the various computer games.

It was my pleasure to visit Acorn Children's Ward at Whipps Cross Hospital today but this time it was to bring some presents  (Waleda beauty products) for the nurses who I think do an absolutely amazing job throughout the year.

.A big thank you goes to Jo Pemaul who chose our charity to receive some of their beauty products which were  kindly donated from their Kindness at Christmas Campaign. I decided that the products would go to the nurses on Acorn Children's Ward at Whipps Cross Hospital.

FTS is a project which FCGAGA has been running for just over a year and a half  now,  the aim of this project is to give breakfast to homeless people in east London  once a week on a Friday morning.  I would just like to thank all the supporters who  continuously champion  this cause and continue to do so it is very much appreciated by myself and the people who your generosity helps to support.
At Christmas  FTS paid for a cooked breakfast at Morrison's in Stratford for several Homeless people who we regularly give a breakfast bag to.  Sixteen homeless  people  were meant to attend however  the final showing was ten and they  had a very pleasant time  indeed. A big thank you to Morrison's who not only donated forty pounds worth of vouchers but made all of us feel very welcome throughout our stay, thank you once again.
