On Thursday 12th October 2017 I had my quarterly check up at St Bart's Hospital for my stage four cancer (Non Hodgkin Lymphoma) and cancer of the bone marrow the oncologist informs me that the cancer is stable which is very good news. So thank you to everyone for the kind messages of support throughout the years for this has helped so much and is very much appreciated.
Doreen Golding Pearly Queen of Bow Bells and Old Kent Road has been given a British Empire Medal for all her charity work over many years. Doreen who lives in Wanstead regularly contributes to FCGAGA at Christmas time and is a very good friend so naturally I'm delighted for her, she will receive the BEM at the Tower of London on 17th November 2017.
A big thank you to SpaceKraft who kindly waived the fee to a recent order after I realised that the items were sold separately, true to their word the item turned up as agreed your kindness was very much appreciated by all at FCGAGA.
FCGAGA were only too pleased to grant Rosie Diplock a request for a light table and coloured shapes Rosie has Down's Syndrome and was born with a congenital heart condition which required major surgery at St Thomas' Hospital earlier this year when she was three months old.
