We were joined by Haslers Foundation / Accountants , Leytonstone Salvation Army, Roding & Barkingside Rotary Club. special thanks to Emily and her work colleagues from Kinetic Business Centre , Herts for sending loads of toys to this special event. Last but not least  many thanks to Grace and Mark the photographers who captured  the whole event in pictures and on film , FCGAGA are very grateful for this. I must also thank the staff on Acorn Ward who made us most welcome as always and for the celebratory bunting which added to the occasion.

                    BBC Radio London interview .

 On Wednesday 20th December I was interviewed by Salma El - Wardany from BBC Radio London about FCGAGA 20th anniversary Christmas  toy visit to Acorn Ward at Whipps Cross Hospital . The interview went very well and Salma was  impressed by the work that FCGAGA and Feed The Streetz  do for the community in East London.
]]><![CDATA[Haslers Foundation Quiz Night 2023]]>Fri, 24 Mar 2023 15:52:25 GMThttp://www.frankcharles.org.uk/blog/haslers-foundation-quiz-night-2023Haslers Foundation held it's popular quiz night on Wednesday 22nd March at the West Essex Golf Club , Bury Rd , Chingford  E4. As always the event was splendid in every way from the venue, food, quiz questions, raffle prizes and the general atmosphere. The charity table had it's best ever  finish  coming in 3rd and Paula won a PlayStation 5 in the raffle which went  down very well with the grandchildren. Thank you Haslers Foundation for a fantastic evening which raised an amazing grand  total of  £7,815.

]]><![CDATA[First support of 2023]]>Wed, 22 Mar 2023 15:20:25 GMThttp://www.frankcharles.org.uk/blog/first-support-of-2023Feed The Streetz were only too pleased when contacted on the 1st January 2023 to help a former rough sleeper Terry who had just got into  sheltered accommodation, Walthamstow after 3 years. A fridge was bought by FCGAGA, kitchen and bedding were donated by Wanstead community , and a gas cooker was bought by FCGAGA and The  Corner House , Wanstead.

FCGAGA donated Christmas presents and Christmas box of food courtesy of Macquarie bank.

Again we were joined by staff from Haslers  Foundation who also collected many presents for Acorn Ward as well . MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.
